COVID-19 | Former Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Said has come down with Covid-19.
Ahmad, when contacted, confirmed that his wife Norliza Mahmud was also infected.
The 63-year-old Kijal assemblyperson said they were undergoing treatment at Sultan Nur Zahirah Hospital in Kuala Terengganu.
"I felt exhausted when doing gardening these few days. I felt weak, so I asked for (a medical officer from) a private clinic to come to my house.
"My wife and I were tested and on the third day we were informed that the results were positive (for Covid-19)," he told Malaysiakini.
Ahmad added that he was unsure how he had contracted the virus. - Mkini
