PETALING JAYA: Communications and multimedia minister Annuar Musa has instructed Digital Nasional Bhd (DNB) to meet with all MPs, including the opposition, to explain the operation of the 5G network.
He said the meeting would take place “at the nearest time” after being asked by Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (Ind-Muar) in the Dewan Rakyat today.
Syed Saddiq said he had been asking since three months ago for a special briefing for all MPs by DNB “so that meticulous details can be discussed”.
There have been calls for a review of the decision to appoint DNB to operate the 5G network following a report that all local telecommunications companies (telcos) were unwilling to sign up for the service. - FMT
