First of all people should realise that (despite all our other disagreements) our former PM No. 8 Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin followed the book over his tenure as PM. He became the PM when he had the majority. When he lost the majority he stepped down as PM with no fuss or delaying tactics. I dont know about you but I would like to salute Tan Sri Muhyiddin for being a gentleman over this.
And since stepping down he has not made a fool of himself by calling himself Bossku. He has hardly made any public statements. He certainly has not said or indicated (like others) that he wants to come back as Prime Minister.
However there is one more flat tyre that he is riding on. These are his advisers particularly whoever handles his public relations and media. They are bungling big time - just like before.
People have not reacted well to the quite silly slogan 'Melaka Sayang Abah' which for some odd reason is being hoisted as Bersatu's one-liner in Melaka.
'Melaka Sayang Abah' is just too presumptious. Taking the people for granted. Why should Melaka sayang Abah?
Dear Tan Sri, try the other way around : Abah Sayang Melaka ! That is more caring. Throughout history a person will say to another person 'I love you'. It means I care for you.
No one says 'You love me'.
Abah yang perlu sayang Melaka
