Sarawak DAP has two state assemblymen in the 82-member state legislative assembly: Violet Yong and chairman Chong Chieng Jen.

In a statement, Abun Sui said Chong reiterated state PH’s commitment that it will support the leadership of Anwar as prime minister until the end of the current Parliament’s five-year term.

He said Anwar assured state PH leaders that the unity government is as strong as ever.

Abun Sui said Anwar had asked state PH to continue strengthening the unity government through the concept of Malaysia Madani.

This evening’s meeting was the first between Anwar as the prime minister and state PH leaders from PKR, DAP and Amanah.
