The price of subsidised RON95 remains unchanged, with these prices effective until April 15.

In a statement, the finance ministry said the price of RON97 would be fixed at RM5.35 per litre, up from the current RM4.95 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of unsubsidised RON95 fuel will increase from RM3.87 to RM4.27.
The price of diesel in West Malaysia will be fixed at RM6.72 per litre, up from RM6.02 per litre.
Subsidised RON95 petrol under the BUDI95 programme will remain at RM1.99 per litre, while diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan stays at RM2.15 per litre.
Subsidised petrol under the subsidised petrol control system (SKPS) will remain at RM2.05 per litre, while subsidised diesel under the subsidised diesel control system (SKDS) will remain at RM2.15 per litre.
These prices are effective until April 15.
The ministry said the government remains committed to ensuring that members of the public do not fully bear the impact of rising global oil prices.
It said although global crude prices dipped today following the announcement of a US-Iran ceasefire, the impact was not immediately reflected in Malaysia’s retail fuel prices.
“This is because pump prices in the country are determined based on the average price of petrol and diesel from the previous week, rather than current daily prices.
“As such, current prices still reflect the higher supply costs over the past five weeks, when global markets were elevated—reaching around US$150 per barrel for petrol products and US$250 per barrel for diesel—which continue to influence domestic retail prices.” - FMT
