Racist, PKR, DAP , PAS and UMNO ‘ethnically cleanses” 5,000 Indian scrap metal petty traders by tearing down and denying licences. Creating and forcing 5,000 less educated Indians into gangsterism and crime.
One of the very few upward mobility opportunities for the less educated Indian poor is to indulge in the scrap metal petty trading. A job the Malays and Chinese does not and did not want to do as it is deemed to be a menial tough dangerous and dirty job. And since the colonial days it was the Indians who were dominating this business.
And after all these years when this scrap metal business got a bit more lucrative with especially the demand from raw material hungry China, the racist and religious supremacist UMNO denies licences to some 5,000 Indian scrap metal traders (The Star 28/11/09 at page N 22).
The UMNO Polis Raja Di Malay-sia and the DBKL and all the other UMNO, PKR, DAP and PAS controlled enforcement personnel take turns to extort bribes, frame these metal dealers, sometimes couple of times in a day, driving thousands out of business as they can no longer offer to afford the bribes.
To UMNO, PKR, DAP and PAS it does not matter that these 5,000 Indians help preserve the environment by this their recycling business. It does not matter to them that this business brings in millions in foreign exchange. But simply because it is the Indian poor who are making the money they are being ‘ethnically cleansed” from their traditional business previously known as ‘bottle shops” as they started by recycling bottles in those days.
Now where do these 5,000 hardworking and prepared to work hard Indians go?
Why risk putting these 5,000 Indians and pushing them into a world of crime, gangsterism, etc. And then get the ever ready Polis Raja Di Malaysia to shoot them dead, simply kill them in police lock ups or lock up scores of thousands to Simpang Renggam without trial or conviction or the scores of other prisons nationwide, and forced to plead guilty as they have no money for bail or to pay their lawyers.
