BROKEN….Edward showing the broken Sinsuran walkway slabs.
By : DAP MEDIA
THE SHOP owners in Sinsuran, Kota Kinabalu have requested the Sabah DAP to highlight the many issues in Sinsuran which include the broken walkway slabs, rubbish collection, and car parking problems.
They wish DBKK can listen to their complaints and give them some attention and action to get their problems solved.
Edward Ewol Mujie went to inspect the Sinsuran shop area and found that indeed there are plenty of walkways and pavements are urgently needed repair and upgrading. Many walkways are totally broken and the pedestrians have to avoid walking on the broken slabs. Edward urges the DBKK to immediately come up with a plan to make good all the pavements and walkways in Sinsuran shops.
Besides, there are complaints concerning the delayed clearing and collection of the ever full rubbish community bins here. The people here said they usually have to wait for days before the rubbish bins are cleared and they have no way to throw their rubbish any more but to leave them on the ground.
This has created an unsightly scene in the city. Edward wants the DBKK to pay particular care to step up the clearing of the rubbish in Sinsuran shops.
The car parking problem in Sinsuran has become more critical and difficult to find a parking lot nowadays. It is always jammed pack here and there is just not enough parking space.
The DBKK has to come up with a new plan to solve the parking problems in Sinsuran, and a detail study is required. May be a multi-storey car park building will be the solution to the problem. Some thing has to be done because the problem is getting worst day by day.
The Sabah DAP Vice Chairman, Edward Ewol Mujie suggested that the sea front Philippine market area could be a good location for the multi-storey car park.
Once the multi-storey car park is completed, the Philippine market can still be operated on the ground floor with the cars parked on the upper floors. This is ideal to solve the long term car parking problems in the future.
