Kajang 'conspiracy' - enter Zul Noordin

Perkasa leader and former PKR MP Zulkifli Noordin has become the latest passenger to board the controversial train bound for Kajang.

In his blog posting, he reveals how the forthcoming by-election is a plot to oust Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, crafted in relation to the appeal against Anwar Ibrahim’s acquittal oon the Sodomy II charge.

Zulkifli (right) also claims that the conspirators have a video recording, which would be made public if circumstances necessitate.

“I have received information that if the plan (to replace Khalid) fails or if it requires a ‘water-tight ending’, then a video filmed from a high angle at a particular residence would be exposed.

“What is this video about... Wait and see,” Zulkifli added.

The Perkasa vice-president, who won the Kulim Bandar Baharu seat in the 2008 general election under a PKR ticket, recalled how Anwar was spooked when his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan filed a police report.

Mohd Saiful had accused Anwar of sodomising him, a charge which the latter claims was fabricated to neutralise the threat he posed to BN.

“Anwar’s fear at that time was rather extraordinary. I don’t plan on revealing the details, which I personally witnessed. I would save that for another time if needed.

“But it is sufficient to say that Anwar hid himself in the home of the Turkish ambassador on June 6, 2008. The official reason then was that he needed protection because there is an attempt to assassinate him,” said Zulkifli.

One of the strategies formulated then, he said, was to ensure that Anwar became a MP and opposition leader hence the Permatang Pauh by-election, which was held after Anwar’s wife and PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail quit.

“How can Anwar be jailed then...The whole world would make noise. America would make noise, Turkey would make noise, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHRC) would make noise, Amnesty International would make noise.

“And we have a government that is afraid of external noise,” he added.

Anwar must become MB at all cost

For the upcoming sodomy appeal, Zulkifli noted that Anwar would be facing renowned lawyer Muhammad Shafee, who would be heading the prosecution.

“The risk of being jailed is real, the risk of seeing his dream of becoming the seventh PM destroyed is real. At the age of 67, he cannot risk a lengthy jail term.

“Who would dare imprison an influential menteri besar on a sodomy charge? Which leader would be courageous enough to face the liberal West which practices free sex (after that)? ...

“The aim is - Anwar must become MB at all cost to ensure that Sungai Buloh prison does not become his final destination in this life,” he added.

However, Zulkifli said Abdul Khalid, who had the support of DAP and PAS as well as Anwar’s wife and the couple’s daughter, PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah (right), was a stumbling block.

The Perkasa leader also linked the exposure of Nurul Izzah’s marital problems and her application for anannulment to the above plot.

“How can Wan Azizah and Nurul Izzah openly support Abdul Khalid now? If they do, they would be criticised and told to fix the marital problems first,” he added.

Zulkifli, who quit PKR after crossing swords with the party leadership, also claimed that the Allah issue and the Bible raid by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) were used to erode PAS and DAP’s support for Abdul Khalid.

As for the March 23 by-election, the Perkasa leader called on Umno to contest the traditional MCA seat.

“I belief that an Umno candidate with calibre and integrity stands a better chance of winning the seat. Don’t allow the democratic right of the people of Selangor to be sodomised,” he added.

Zulkifli also listed several options for Abdul Khalid (right) and pointed out that the latter should not be written off easily as he is a corporate figure accustomed to such tactics and manoeuver.

Citing a Malay adage and urging Abdul Khalid to learn from the fate of former deputy premier Ghafar Baba, Zulkifli said: “Tan Sri (Abdul Khalid), the knife is in your hand and the cucumber is also in your hand. Do what is required to protect democracy and your dignity.”
