NAJIB'S GREATEST JOKE

Prime Minister Najib Razak’s appeal to the people to stop believing the promises laid out by opposition has been mocked as the greatest joke of the century by a PAS leader.

“He should stop assuming that the people today are not informative,” said PAS vice president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, as quoted by Malay tabloid Sinar Harian.

Tuan Ibrahim said the people did not forget BN’s promises before the 13th general election, among others, to hike 1Malaysia People’s Aid to RM1,200, lower prices of necessity goods, petrol and others that yet to be materialised to date.

Worst, the Pahang PAS commissioner said, the people are now burdened by rising cost of living.

Tuan Ibrahim predicted that Kajang voters would give a comfortable victory to Pakatan Rakyat to punish BN over those unfulfilled promises.

Targeting his nemesis Anwar Ibrahim, who is also Pakatan Rakyat’s candidate for Kajang by-election, Najib warned the people that the country would be doomed if Pakatan Rakyat wins the next general election.

Najib also cited the September 16 saga, the claim of the existence of 40,000 phantom Bangladeshi voters and Anwar’s promise to retire from politics if Pakatan Rakyat failed to takeover Putrajaya from BN in GE13 to back his argument that BN is trustworthier than Pakatan Rakyat. -Harakahdaily
