The resignation of P Waythamoorthy is a good example of Prime Minister Najib Razak’s broken promise towards the Indians.
What happened to the special unit of at least 50 members to help the poor?
Waythamoorthy has been conned to deliver the Indian support to BN. After winning the election, nothing has been done and this is unacceptable. The trust of the people has been betrayed.
Hindraf had been actively championing the Indians’ rights but now they are left with nothing but price hikes.
I hope this serves as a warning to those who are charmed by pre-election goodies like BR1M.
The Prime Minister had promised that there would be no petrol hikes during election, but what happened after that? Petrol prices went up, sugar prices went up and toll prices will be going up too, after the Kajang election.
One thing Waytha said is true - Najib is a LIAR!
What Waythamoorthy said was right - that the Prime Minister is a liar who does not fulfill his promises.
In Penang, Najib promised low cost housing throughout the island before the election but now he is very silent.
Waythamoorthy was made an offer to help make the Indians’ lives better. Unfortunately, he had to learn the hard way to realise that the Prime Minister never keeps his promises. I hope that others will not make the same mistake.
The Indians must know the truth about BN and their empty promises. People in Kajang will be waiting to hear directly from Waytha. I hope he takes this opportunity to truly apologise to the Indians and reveal to them the true colours of BN and their lies.
