PAS information chief Mahfuz Omar has condemned the move to bring two pandas from China as the deal is of no benefit to Malaysians.
He said it was ridiculous that such a deal was inked in order to preserve diplomatic ties between the two nations.
The government, he added, was more interested in pandas and not "janda" (widows and single mothers).
Mahfuz (right) said the money could have been spent on providing assistance to the 880,000 single mothers nationwide.
“This is the most 'tolol' (stupidest) deal by a 'bahlol' (idiotic) government," he added. -Malaysiakini
