Donald Trump's decision to ban people from seven countries entry into the US has created panic in Pakistan, which the White House has indicated may also be placed on the "terrorist exporting nation" list.
EIGHT YEARS after the Mumbai attacks in 2009 Pakistan has decided to place the chief instigator behind the attacks under "HOUSE ARREST" ! Surely the Pakistanis are not being serious. Here is the news :

chief suspect behind 2008 Mumbai attacks under house arrest
Hafiz Saeed of Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) has US$10m bounty on his head
placed under "preventative detention", according to Interior Ministry
Police escorted him to his residence
"These orders have come from Washington," he said.
JuD listed as terror outfit by United Nations
front for Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) blamed for attack on Mumbai in 2008
Mumbai carnage by heavily armed gunmen, on Nov 26, 2008
"official agencies" in Pakistan involved in plotting attack
for years JuD operated freely across Pakistan
Despite bounty on his head Saeed led high-profile public life
detention surfaced hours after Minister hinted crackdown imminent
also ordered "preventative detention" of four others in Punjab
Pakistan's failure to prosecute Mumbai attackers
Islamabad in 2015 release mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi
Pakistan long played "double game" by supporting militants
My comments : Without a doubt the attackers came from Pakistan. It has taken the Pakistanis eight years to place the chief instigator under "house arrest".
Worse is their releasing the mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi in 2015.
In 2002 I recall watching their prime minister Pervez Musharaf saying on TV to the whole world that Osama bin Laden was dead.
Osama bin Laden was alive and well, and lived for NINE MORE years, until he was killed in 2011 in a bungalow house in Abbotabad, Pakistan within 2 km of the Pakistani Military Academy.
To hunt down Osama in Abbotabad, "the CIA also recruited a Pakistani doctor Dr Shakil Afridi..to try to obtain blood samples from people living in the Abbottabad compound as part of a vaccination program to determine whether the residents might be related to bin Laden. That doctor was convicted by a Pakistani court in May 2012 of “conspiring against the state” and sentenced to 33 years in jail. A senior judicial official later overturned the 33-year prison sentence for Dr Shakil Afridi on technical grounds and ordered a retrial."
It is simply ridiculous to say that the Pakistanis did not know Osama's whereabouts. They were housing and keeping watch over him. These are the games they play.
The same is happening now where they have placed the instigator of the Mumbai attack under house arrest. He will possibly be free to travel from his house and return to sleep at night. Its a 'house arrest'. These are the games they play.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will be a test of how serious Donald Trump is about coming down on terrorist exporting countries.
