Police say woman was clad in a gray T-shirt and pink shorts while the child was wearing a T-shirt and gray trousers.
BALIK PULAU: The bodies of an unidentified woman and a child were found tied together on a beach in front of the Tropical Spice Garden in Teluk Bahang near here yesterday.
Southwestern District police chief Supt Anuar Omar said the body of the woman, in her 30s, and the four-year-old, believed to be her daughter were found at 6pm.
“They were bound to each other by a rafia string. We believe they died in the past 24 hours,” he said here yesterday.
He said the woman was clad in a gray T-shirt and pink shorts while the child was wearing a T-shirt and gray trousers.
The bodies were sent to the Balik Pulau Hospital.
Meanwhile, Siti Naimah Mohd Sabri, 25, said she saw the two bodies on the rocks on the beach and contacted the police. -FMT
