The Malaysian SEA Games contingent has just delivered the 100th gold medal, with the latest coming from rhythmic gymnastics event.
This was announced by Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on Twitter this afternoon, who thanked the gymnasts for their performance.
The gold medal came from gymnast Amy Kwan.
Malaysia's target for this Sea Games is to win 111 gold medals. The games, which is being held in Kuala Lumpur, will end on Wednesday.
At present, Malaysia is leading the medals' tally with a total of 231 medals, including 68 silver and 63 bronze.
