The latest news is 'quiet and peaceful' Jordan is teetering on the brink too.
King Abdullah of Jordan has defused a coup plot against him orchestrated by Muhammad bin Salman the Crown Moron of Saudi Arabia.
Obviously Salman has bribed King Abdullah's own brothers into the plot.

This Crown Prince fellow in Saudi Arabia is becoming quite the moron. The Saudis are actively getting involved in the domestic affairs of their Arab neighbors. Including plotting coups and regime change.
Jordan has diplomatic relations with Israel. They are not overly pro Sunni and neither are they overly anti Shia. Jordan is a secular Arab monarchy. They have little interest with the Hezbollah situation in Lebanon.
Why would the Saudis get involved in a coup against king Abdullah?
There is a theory floating around that Donald Trump really wants to make the "deal of the century" over the Palestinian issue. Donald Trump's recent announcement about moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem is all part of this "deal of the century".
The theory is that the Gaza will be absorbed by Egypt. Hence all Gazans will become Egyptians.
Jordan will absorb parts of the West Bank - which belonged to Jordan anyway. All West Bank Palestinians in that area will become Jordanians.
Overnite the Palestinian problem will be solved - for Israel.
Gaza and the West Bank will become the responsibility of Egypt and Jordan respectively, both Arab Muslim countries.
This is no rocket science solution. For 19 years from 1948 until 1967 the Gaza Strip was effectively under Egyptian Administration anyway.
"The occupation of the Gaza Strip by Egypt occurred between 1948 and October 1956 and from March 1957 to June 1967. . . . Egypt did not annex the Gaza Strip but left it under military rule pending a resolution of the Palestine question."
And the West Bank was under Jordanian rule until 1967 and "administration" until 1989 :

So there is no great rocket science involved if parts of the West Bank go back to Jordan and the Gaza goes back to Egypt.
Of course if King Abdullah did not like the idea, but his siblings were more keen, then that could be a motive behind the coup.
