COVID-19 | Six new Covid-19 cases have been reported in the country today, of which two were locally acquired.
The two local infections included one case in Kedah linked to the Telaga cluster, and the other was a severe acute respiratory infection case in Sabah.
The new Telaga case was a close contact of the index patient. There are now nine cases in this cluster, with 705 individuals still awaiting results.
Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were also 21 recoveries, bringing the number of active cases to 150.
The number of patients under intensive care rose to five from four yesterday, with three still requiring ventilators.
No new deaths were reported.
