PETALING JAYA: Malaysiakini this evening confirmed that one of its non-editorial staff tested positive for Covid-19 and has temporarily closed its office for sanitisation.
The reception desk will be closed from 4pm today.
The news portal has since instructed employees identified as close contacts to get tested and quarantine themselves for 14 days.
“Those identified as secondary contacts have also been told to self-quarantine and get tested after two weeks,” it said.
Malaysiakini said most of its editorial team were working from home. - FMT
