KUALA LUMPUR: Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein is on a working visit to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The visit is at the invitation of UAE's Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Sheikh Abdullah Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Foreign Ministry, in a statement today, said Hishammuddin was scheduled to hold a meeting tonight with his UAE counterpart on bilateral cooperation as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern to both countries.
The working visit comes after the conclusion of Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's official visit to Indonesia recently and is held in full compliance with strict Covid-19 standard operating procedures put in place by the UAE government. - Bernama
