KUALA LUMPUR: The winds of change among voters now are for Barisan Nasional, which is why the “Bossku” label has gained significant traction among the grassroots, says Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
The former prime minister said “Bossku” was not about him but is synonymous with Barisan.
“The winds of change are blowing towards us, towards Barisan. I am confident of this, if not “Bossku” will not be popular on the ground.
“Bossku is synonymous with Barisan,” he said at a forum held in conjunction with the Barisan National convention on Wednesday (June 1).
Najib, who is the coalition's advisory board chairman, revealed that after Barisan lost the general election in 2018, he was reluctant to leave the house.
“When I went to the mall, no one wanted to take photos with me. The Chinese will look at me from afar.
“But now, people will queue to take photos with me. I believe this is an indication that support has returned to Barisan,” he said. - Star
