KUALA LUMPUR: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd (SDHB) said it was unable to release its quarterly report for the financial period ended Dec 31, last year, within the timeframe not later than today.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, SDHB said the delay was due to a significant loss of manpower and loss of critical personnel.
"The board would like to stress that they are taking serious steps towards identifying suitable replacement candidates to rectify these issues," the filing said.
It expects to issue and submit its quarterly report for the fiscal period by March 6, the filing said.
SDHB is required to issue its interim financial report on a quarterly basis as soon as the figures have been approved by the board of directors not later than two months after the end of each quarter as required under Bursa Malaysia's Main Market Listing Requirements.
On Dec 23 last year, trading in the company's shares were suspended until further notice for failure to submit its annual report 2022.
On Jan 10, the High Court judicial commissioner Ahmad Murad Abdul Aziz allowed a petition filed by six financial institutions to wind up SDHB and its subsidiaries -- Serba Dinamik Group Bhd, Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd, and Serba Dinamik International Ltd.
The six financial institutions acting as the suit's petitioners are Standard Chartered Saadiq Bhd, HSBC Amanah Malaysia Bhd, AmBank Islamic Bhd, MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd, United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, and Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd.
The four companies are said to have a total debt of close to RM5 billion.
On Jan 11, the company filed an appeal against the High Court's decision to wind up the company and its three subsidiaries. -- BERNAMA
