The former Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia academic said these issues occurred every Hari Raya. He bemoaned the situation in Kelantan, saying he hoped things would change for the better.

Netizens took to the comment section to share their thoughts on the grievances raised by Agus.

Yodi Husin said Agus rarely came back to Kelantan, but those living there faced these issues daily and could do nothing about it.

“The urban system is in disarray. Luckily, there aren’t as many vehicles in Kelantan as there are in Kuala Lumpur,” he said.

Nredya Edya Edrus commented: “This is normal, but the worst is the standstill traffic and, sometimes, there is no water at R&Rs (rest and recreation areas). We are forced to bring our own water.”

Ahmad Hafizi urged Agus to address these issues now that he held a government position.
