KUALA LUMPUR: Bestinet Sdn Bhd has appointed the Tengku Muda of Pahang, Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah as the chairman of its board.
Bestinet said Tengku Abdul Rahman, who recently became a shareholder of the company, had also assumed the position of company director effective June 30.
Tengku Abdul Rahman takes over from Amin Abdul Nor, who recently resigned as chairman and company director.
In a statement today, Bestinet CEO Ismail Noor said he believes that Tengku Abdul Rahman’s fresh perspective would drive the company to greater heights.
“Bestinet’s primary objective is to establish a strong collaboration with our new chairman, aiming to deliver enduring value to all public and private stakeholders.
“The company has maintained a steadfast commitment to serving clients by providing comprehensive information technology solutions, with a particular focus on security, biometrics, and artificial intelligence,” he said. - FMT
