Courting the Kelantanese diaspora is one of Pakatan Harapan's strategies to win over voters in the upcoming state elections.
Kelantan and Terengganu PKR chief Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad said the party would be aggressively meeting with voters in an effort to compete with PN.
“We will meet with people including young voters and the diaspora who are quite sizeable, such as those in Selangor and Penang.
"We believe they will play an important role even though they voted for PAS previously," he told reporters in Kota Bharu today.
He indicated that Harapan and its new ally have an ace up their sleeve which will give them a fighting chance against the incumbent PAS state government.
Nik Nazmi, who is also natural resources, environment and climate change minister said cooperation between Kelantan Harapan and BN is going smoothly, and that they have held several joint programmes.
PAS has led Kelantan since 1990.
