KUALA LUMPUR: In a gesture of deep commitment to his people, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah read every letter of complaint and petition he received from Sabahans and Sarawakians during the recently concluded 11-day Kembara Kenali Borneo programme.

The journey, which ended yesterday (Sept 13), saw the King engaged with the people of Sabah and Sarawak, listening to their concerns and aspirations.

His Majesty's dedication to understanding the issues faced by his subjects underscored the importance of direct communication between the monarchy and the citizens.

In a move that demonstrated his dedication to addressing the grievances and requests of his people, the King decided to hand over all the letters and petitions to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

This was shared on the Istana Negara Instagram account, showing several pictures of the King going through the letters and petitions.

The Instagram post has received more than 11,200 likes and counting.

His Majesty also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Sabah and Sarawak who participated in the Kembara Kenali Borneo programme.

The King commended their willingness to share their thoughts openly, positive and negative, on various issues.

Netizens praised the King for his attention to the people in Borneo.
