The 'Geng 24 Hung Hung' man is accused of being in possession of a Stoeger automatic shotgun and 120 rounds of ammunition.

The 40-year-old, who was not identified, was charged at the Kuching sessions court with being in possession of a black Stoeger automatic shotgun without a valid licence, Dayak Daily reported.
The charge under Section 8 of the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971 is punishable by up to 14 years in prison and a maximum six strokes of the cane, if convicted.
Judge Musyida Abdul Halim did not allow bail and set Aug 6 for case management.
Later, at the magistrates’ court, the man was slapped with six charges of possession of 120 rounds of various types of ammunition without lawful authorisation.
The charges under Section 8(a) of the Arms Act 1960 are punishable by up to seven years in jail, a maximum RM10,000 fine or both, upon conviction.
He was accused of committing both offences at a house in Lorong Durian Burung, Taman Daya around 2.30am on April 15.
Magistrate Nursyaheeza Nazwa Radzali granted bail of RM9,000 for the three ammunition charges and set July 23 for case management.
In a separate courtroom, magistrate Ling Hui Chuan also granted RM9,000 bail for the other three ammunition charges and set Aug 6 for case management.
The accused was previously charged under Section 130V(1) of the Penal Code with being a member of an organised crime group.
He was among several people arrested under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012, or Sosma, during a special operation held in Kuching from April 19-23, 2026.
