The Merlimau and Kerdau by-elections will see Barisan Nasional taking on PAS on March 6. In Merlimau, the returning officer announced that three objections were rejected leaving BN's Roslan Ahmad to contest against Yuhaizad Abdullah of PAS. In Kerdau, one objection was filed and rejected leaving BN's Syed Ibrahim Syed Ahmad to challenge PAS' Hassanuddin Salim.
