Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak risks losing his position and federal power if he keeps going on overseas trips, said PERKASA President Ibrahim Ali.Therefore, he “advised” Najib to focus on solving the people’s problems instead. “Before you lose your position (as Prime Minister) and the government, you should reduce your overseas trips,” Ibrahim said in his speech at PERKASA’s annual general meeting today.
He pointed out how leaders of other countries do not have as many overseas trips. “It’s not wrong to visit other countries, but the Prime Minister should focus on solving rakyat’s problems, too,” he added. Najib is currently away on an official visit to South Korea.
Support for transparency
“(As such), please give an explanation on the issue as soon as possible to get back the rakyat’s confidence,” he said. “I am not apologetic, I have nothing to lose,” he quipped.
In a recent development, Batu Kawan UMNO Division Vice-Chairperson Khairuddin Abu Hasan had lodged a Police report against the company and its directors.
Meanwhile, on US Ambassador to Malaysia Joseph Y Yun (right) and US Vice President Joe Biden’s statements on the Sedition Act, Ibrahim said the US had no right to interfere with Malaysia’s affairs, especially since it abused prisoners in Guantanamo Bay.
“America is father of all devils. What right do they have to get involved in our affairs? We condemn strongly their statements,” he asserted
