STOP THE EVIL! Najib, Pak Lah, Ku Li & Anwar told to unite to fight Mahathir
PETALING JAYA - A suspended Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) member, Badrul Hisham Shahrin or more popularly known as Chegubard, has advised his party against continuing to humour former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad in his idiosyncrasies or go along inadvertently with his plot to oust Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
Chegubard is currently under suspension for washing dirty linen in public and bringing the party into public disrepute.
Instead, he urged those who have been oppressed by Mahathir in the past to shed their differences and come together to put Mahathir and his supporters in their place.
He cited Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, Kelantan Umno strongman Tengku Razaleigh and former Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi as among those who should come together in an alliance to deal with Mahathir.
“Najib should get rid of his big ego, otherwise he will never last his term as Prime Minister,” he said mentioning the Prime Minister’s role in dealing with Mahathir.
He called on Umno Youth Chief Khairy Jamaluddin to take a stand on Mahathir and not carry on like a ghost steering between the former Prime Minister, for fear of being bashed by him, and Najib.
He also wants to know whether Kedah Menteri Besar Mukhriz Mahathir will take a stand on his father and keep a distance from him or face the consequences. “Is he with his father or Najib?” asked Chegubard.
He conceded that he doesn’t know whether Pakatan Rakyat (PR), the opposition alliance, is aware that Mahathir is at present riding on it to further his nefarious motives towards the end of his life.
“This is Mahathir’s skill in politics. To complete his moves on the political chessboard, he’s willing to do anything, even make use of his bitter foes,” said Chegubard.
He advised Mahathir at the same time, as a member of Gen-Y, to cease and desist as he had brought about enough destruction especially since leaving the Prime Minister’s post which he occupied for 22 years.
If Mahathir wants to debate cronyism and opportunities, he asked the former Prime Minister to point how many children of the Malays were given the opportunity to collect billions of ringgit worth of projects from Petronas. He was implying that Mahathir was merely enriching only himself and a few under the guise of helping the community.
“Leaving aside 1MDB for the moment, Mahathir needs to reveal how many IPPs (independent power producers) he created during his time as a form of pension scheme for him and his friends,” said Chegubard.
“IPPs have become a major headache in the management of subsidies for industries and energy in the country.” - FMT
