PETALING JAYA: Seven localities in Sabah and Pahang will be placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Aug 30 to Sept 12.
In a statement, MKN director-general Rodzi Md Saad said the four localities in Sabah located in the Putatan district are Taman Ketiau, Platinum Apartment, Taman Teluk Villa and PPR Taman Sri Serigai.
On the other hand, the localities to undergo total lockdown in Pahang are Kampung Batu Balai, Kampung Congo and Kampung Perlok, which are located in Mukim Hulu Cheka in Jerantut.
He said the EMCO at Kampung Tuhau in Matunggong, Kudat in Sabah, which was supposed to end tomorrow, will be extended to Sept 12.
Meanwhile, the EMCO at several localities in Sabah and Pahang will end tomorrow.
In Sabah, the EMCO will end as scheduled at two localities in Tawau, namely Kampung Sungai Pukul and Kampung Muhibbah Raya; Kampung Paka Kawiyan and Kampung Matupang in Ranau; and the Excellent Challenger 2 plantation quarters in Beluran.
Other than that, the EMCO at Block G, H, K and L of the Megalong mall and Phase 2 of the Donggongon township in Penampang will also end, together with the lockdown at Kampung Sembirai Lebak Engad in Kota Belud.
In Pahang, the EMCO at Kampung Orang Asli Terisu in Cameron Highlands and Kampung Seberang Sungai Ular in Mukim Sg Karang, Kuantan will end tomorrow. - FMT
