PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has arrived for his audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.
His audience today follows widespread speculation that he will be submitting his resignation.
He arrived in a Vellfire through the main gate at 12.23pm.
Earlier this morning, he had met with his Cabinet ministers at a high-level meeting at Perdana Putra in Putrajaya.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Special Functions) Mohd Redzuan Yusof confirmed yesterday that Muhyiddin had expressed the intention to hand in his resignation after admitting to losing his majority support.
Earlier, Attorney-General Idrus Harun and Inspector-General of Police Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani were seen entering the palace.
