PETALING JAYA: A statement purportedly by the Prime Minister's Department on abuse of power of the Chief Secretary to the Government and Public Services director-general is fake.
The Prime Minister’s Department said this in a Facebook post on Thursday (April 6).
"The department refers to the alleged statement which was circulated on social media on Thursday.
"The statement is false," it said, adding that the department has never released any statement.
It added that this act was malicious and intended to confuse the rakyat.
It advised the public to not spread any information that was not verified.
