Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Noor should not preoccupy himself with political moves, said DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke.
Instead, he urged the PAS leader to focus on moving Kedah forward with development.
"The Kedah menteri besar should focus on developing Kedah as he was given the mandate to be the menteri besar, not initiate 'moves' in Chow Kit, Alor Setar and so on.
"Those who openly say that they want to make 'moves' are those who are irresponsible," Loke (above, right) was quoted as saying by Sinar Harian today.
He was commenting on Sanusi's remarks yesterday expressing confidence that a move to topple the government would be successful soon.
However, Sanusi said the latest plot to topple the government should not be called the Dubai Move, which allegedly took place there, but indicated that the meeting may have been held in Kuala Lumpur instead, making it the “Chow Kit Move”.
He also joked that there might be a “Bera Move” and “Sembrong Move” in reference to Umno black sheep Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Hishamuddin Hussein.
On this, Loke said it did not matter if any moves were afoot, as his focus was on carrying out his work.
"The Transport Ministry also has many digitalisation moves.
"We want to beef up the Road Transport Department, allow road tax renewal online, and focus on cleaning up the people's data through the Central Database Hub (Padu),” the transport minister added. - Mkini
