PETALING JAYA: Police are looking for a man who allegedly threatened to beat up a bystander who heard him yelling at a woman, believed to be his wife, in the parking lot of a mall in Kuala Lumpur last Friday.
Brickfields police chief Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood confirmed receiving a report on the incident, filed by the bystander on Sunday.
he told FMT.We are looking for him (the man who allegedly made the threats) and will call him to record his statement,
Ku Mashariman said however police have classified the case as
(NFA) as there was no violence or injuries sustained by both parties.no further action
He said police will look into all reports filed but an investigation paper will only be opened if there is evidence of a criminal act.
In the police report sighted by FMT, the bystander said he witnessed the couple arguing behind his car in the parking lot at 9pm on Friday.
“Suddenly, the man approached me and yelled at me. He also grabbed my hand and warned me that he would beat me up.

The complainant shared a video of the incident in a thread post on X yesterday, where the man is heard hurling expletives at him.
