PETALING JAYA: A 64-year-old motorcyclist died this morning after a car crashed into him while he was changing lanes on a highway in Kuala Lumpur.
KL traffic investigation and enforcement department chief Zamzuri Isa said the incident occurred at 8.54am today on the East-West Link Expressway.
“The accident occurred when the motorcyclist changed lanes, which led to a car driven by a 24-year-old woman crashing into him.
he said in a statement.The victim suffered severe injuries and medical officers later confirmed that he had died at the scene,
Zamzuri added that the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless driving. - FMT
