PM Najib back to work

PUTRAJAYA - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting Friday as he returned to work after recovering fully from a bout of chicken pox.

Najib, who arrived at his office at 9.20am, smiled as he greeted his staff members before heading to the meeting room about 10 minutes later.

The prime minister entered the meeting room to a round of applause from ministers who had gathered there.

Najib was down with chicken pox late last month and was admitted to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital due to superficial ulcers and mild gastritis. He was discharged on Sunday. - BERNAMA
