Najib! Bring on the 13th GE!

Congratulations are pouring in for Sarawak BN! But I got to say, that you’ve got to give the results a second look.

If you do, you will conclude that this is Pek Moh Taib Mahmud’s biggest defeat in the history of the hornbills.

I am not the only one who’s thinking this, Oxford educated Khairykj Khairy Jamaluddin thinks the same as well. He twitted:

“But in the cold light of day although we won, we suffered our biggest losses ever in Sarawak. So, Putrajaya, we have a problem. Face facts”.

Yes, BN retained its 2/3rd majority with 55 seats (down from 63 in 2006) alright, while DAP got 12, PKR 3 and an independent got 1.

But Taib, the 30 years longest serving Chief Minister not only lost his deputy George Chan, he lost Kuching, Sarawak’s capital city to DAP and PKR as well.

People are beginning to joke that Taib should shift his capital to Bakun!

That the ‘charms’ of his new Queen, the enchantress, and bomoh Stella isn’t working as well as expected.

PKR, who has been hard hit the worst with various controversies involving its leadership even manage to ‘triple’ its seats from 1 to 3, DAP doubled theirs by winning 12 (was 6 in 2006).

PKR has to learn to be less ambitious, and perhaps be more focussed on winnable seats….ok, ok, they’re all taken up by the DAP!

SNAP, who was at logger heads with PKR and vice-versa, got snap-ed alright. To both parties, please don’t air your dirty linen in public. People get fed-up, you know. Childish!

The best part of the election results shows that the likes of MCA and Gerakan also need to bungkus – they are of no help to SUPP!

PBB and Umno (when it comes to the peninsula) will just say that they may as well go solo. So, Chua Soi Lek, and Mr. KPI Koh Tsu Koon, what say you?

But the saddest part to me about the elections is that we cannot get out of the same paradigm or status quo of Malays/Muslims vs the Chinese/Nons.

It’s a setback that after 54 years, we can’t get out of this mindset, that Malay/Muslims need Umno/BN/PBB and the nons should vote DAP – seen and perceived as a dominant Chinese opposition party (though this is not what they intend to be).

This is what Umno likes as well…because DAP is never, could never be a threat to them. Umno has its own set of voters and so do DAP. They are not considered rivals.

So its sad to me that people are still voting and thinking based on race. Will this ever change

PKR is a real challenge to Umno/BN and it must be stopped at all cost, or else, you will have a Malaysian Malaysia, or a Anak Bangsa Malaysia all sharing power together.

No, this must not be allowed to happen! What would become of 1malaysia then? T-shirts and tupperwares, notwithstanding!

So kill Anwar Ibrahim, bring on the sodomy, the sex video, and of course bring on RPK, BN’s last (minute) weapon of mass destruction.

Yet Sarawakians made history today! The real congrats goes to each and every voter.

The only question that remains now is: will Najib call a snap election?
