A musang picked to take care of chicken coop

YOURSAY ‘Good officers are few and far between. People like them should be running Felda, not Isa Samad.'

Top Felda officer 'cold-storaged' at PM's Dept

your sayDont Just Talk: Appointing someone who was charged with money politics by the Umno disciplinary committee to head Felda is like appointing a musang to take care of the chicken coop.

And this can only happen in Bolehland when tainted leaders are appointed to top posts and credible, capable senior government servants who do not see eye-to-eye with the rotten fish-head are transferred to another department and humiliated with menial jobs not relating to their grade.

Such is the sad state of affairs which we see in Malaysia today under the Umno-BN government.

Sarawakian_3ff9: Good officers like them are too few and far between. They are willing to lose all for standing up to their principles. People like them should be running Felda, not people like the Felda chairperson Isa Samad.

Chipmunk: Now all my fellow Malay brothers and sisters can see what an Umno Malay is. They really don't care if you are even a Malay. For them, there is only one thing that is important in their lives and that is to make money as much as possible as long as they are in power.

I do hope all learned Malays and those from the rural areas can see the real face of Umno Melayu.

With your support, we can overthrow this selfish regime out from Putrajaya and bring in Pakatan Rakyat at the next general election. This is your last chance to do the right thing.

Mamakputra's Stooge: I am sure the majority of Malay Malaysians are unlike these corrupt, ruthless, arrogant Umno Malays who have no qualms in punishing any Malaysian, including other Malays who do not follow their desire or stand in their way in raping this country of its rich resources.

Pemerhati: Najib Abdul Razak is using the same strategies as Dr Mahathir Mohamad's when he was prime minister.

Mahathir started off with Sodomy I, Najib followed up with Sodomy II. When Mahathir's deal with the independent power producers was opposed by the Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) chief Ani Arope, he was put out to pasture and the deal was pushed through by his lackeys.

Mahathir is said to have a 30 percent kickback on that deal, which resulted in high electricity tariffs for all Malaysians.

While Mahathir continues to cheat every Malaysian who switches on the electricity, now Najib is going to cheat all the Felda settlers by replacing top officers who opposed his diabolical plan with a proven corrupt crony.

MP: Before you know it, all the savings in Felda will be gone, the PM will thank the Felda members for supporting 'him'.

Swipenter: The ringing of the cash register is very loud and blinding to some, and the Umnoputras are blinded by arrogance, greed, power and money. They have squeezed others until there is almost nothing left to squeeze lest they reach the tipping point.

But the ordinary Malays have yet to be squeezed like others and are now beginning to get a taste of the true colours of Umno.

The non-Malays are now toughened but indifferent after all these decades of unfair squeezing. They have been cold storaged by Umno for decades, so to speak.

They know that if they don't help themselves, nobody will. So many out of no choice, choose to go a place where there exists a level-playing field or equal opportunity for all.

Not Confused: The only things that this farce of a government can practice (having 54 years of experience) are: oppression, suppression, intimidation, coersion, racism and corruption.

Their heads are so far up in the clouds (or in some other dark place) that they don't realise the rakyat have now caught on to their tractics. What blissful ignorance.

Anonymous: Someone is going to make big bucks on the Felda listing... but that's not going to be the rakyat.

Loyal Malaysian: To have a top officer of integrity to tell his political master all's not well with Isa's appointment is indeed a blessing to any government bureaucracy.

But not in our Bolehland. Instead he's ‘cold-storaged' What a shame.

Pakatan must highlight the plight of this officer and make known his views to the Felda settlers, who may be ignorant of the perils of the listing exercise.

Plainly: BN should quickly call for an election to get kicked out as soon as possible. This sort of abusive or corrupted governance is never seen going to end anytime soon. Less BN rule, less rubbish.

Little Han2: I hope the Pakatan government will be more forgiving and magnanimous after GE 13 and not humiliate the losers from BN, but let the law and rule of law takes place.

Blind Freddo: That's better than being sent back to Saudi Arabia to be executed.  - Malaysiakini
