THE AUTHORITIES, particularly DBKK, which supposedly organised the official government memorial service for the Double Six victims at the Tugu Peringatan at Sembulan yesterday, must show more solemness in their organisation.
Looking at the pathetic way that the banner was hung at the junction to the Sembula memorial was like a public display of disrespect and dishonour to the memory of the Double Six tragedy and its victims.
"The victims and memory of the Double Six tragedy in which our top leaders perished deserve better from the government. We call on the authorities to be more sensitive and more respectful in the future", said Edward who led a delegation of 50 youths to the memorial service held by SAPP on the day. - Sabahkini

ReplyDeleteAppaun, DBKK atau pihak2 yang bertanggungjawab mungkin boleh ambil perhatian juga tentang hal ini. Bukan sebab banner tu double six tapi demi memastikan pemandangan indah, ada baiknya banner juga dipastikan kena gantung dengan baik.
ReplyDeleteKalau benar ingin membuat peringatan sebaiknya Banner yang dibuat dan dipasang itu diletak ditempat yang benar-benar sesuai dan boleh dilihat oleh orang awam.
