Nurul Izzah will win Lembah Pantai: The people will see through Nong Chik!

Nurul Izzah will win Lembah Pantai: The people will see through Nong Chik!
There is a vast majority of supporters for Nurul Izzah in Lembah Pantai. Women tip the scale slightly in this constituency and this alone will give Nurul Izzah the edge to win hands down on her upstart wannabe Raja Nong Chik.
To many, Nong Chik or RNC as he likes to be called is also the "tainted one" because of his daughter's RM30.8mil scandal involving a company Istijuara Sdn Bhd which was awarded a fat contract by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. RNC's daughter Raja Farhana is the majority shareholder with 99% control of the company.
Well, this money will go nicely into funding his political debut in Lembah Pantai. But the real icing to the cake is the EPF's RM1.5bil put at his disposal in the guise of a housing scheme. All these were given to him by another scandal-tainted person - Prime Minister Najib Razak. With this war chest, they hope to upstage Nurul Izzah at Lembah Pantai
Backdoor politics
To Nurul supporters, RNC is not even in her class. They say this guy came in through the backdoor as a Senator and was then appointed to be the Federal Territories and Urban Well Being Minister. To them, 'Urban Well Being' is itself a joke. Is it well being for himself but hardship for the people.
Word' has it that he 'screwed up' Shahrizat Jalil, the former Women's Minister, in a most royal way by exposing the NFC scandal to bring her down so that he could vie for the Lembah Pantai seat and keep his Ministerial Portfolio intact in the event Barisan Nasional wins GE 13th. With this in mind he has begun an onslaught on Nurul Izzah in Lembah Pantai.
This diminutive guy reminds us of Hitler, he will think nothing of lying and cheating to get his way but forgetting that Nurul Izzah has her own support base. She is his nemesis, she won't be beaten - not so soon anyway.
Why is that so? Well, Nurul has been working quietly and very efficiently for Lembah Pantai.  She is a pillar of strength, despite being only 32 - intelligent and elegant. The people of Lembah Pantai will want her to be there for a few more years, until she goes much higher up in the ranks of the Corridors of Power - until she exhausts her potential.
Mr OPM will have to fight not one but TWO women
All these wheeling, dealing with OPM (other peoples money) will go to naught because Lembah Pantai is an urban seat. The people are well educated and can see between the lines of who is right and who is wrong. RNC can fool some folks some of the time but not all of them all of the time.
The people gain when he dishes out money to solve problems in Lembah Pantai in the hope that they will vote for him. He doesn't realize that he will be a loser because he has also to fight Shahrizat, who will want Nurul Izzah to win to shame this devil and get some vengeance for the disgrace he allegedly brought on her.
Shahrizat is a woman 'scorned ' and "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned". So watch out RNC! You will be fighting 2 women internally and externally. Can your small diminutive frame withstand this onslaught?
Come help Nurul fight the evil of vote-cheating & money politics
My plea to supporters of Nurul Izzah is that where ever you may be, come down to Lembah Pantai and campaign for her. You might not be able to vote at this place but at least you can convince 1 or 2 persons to vote for her. Your mere presence alone will give a positive effect to her campaign and inspire her to fight even harder.
During the 2008 election, a group of friends and I - having been thoroughly disgusted with MIC and Samy Vellu - decided to go to Sungei Siput to campaign for Dr Michael Jayakumar. We did not even know Dr Jayakumar personally but we knew it was an uphill task for him to beat the 'great' Samy.
But we still tried our best and won. At that time, we used our own resources and all of us were poorer by a few thousand ringgit at the end of it. Yet, we had the immense satisfaction of seeing the giant fall.
This time if we feel Nurul Izzah needs our support, we will be there at Lembah Pantai. Any takers who want to be with us?
