On behalf of ABU, I pledged to the people of Segambut at a ceramah in Taman Tun Dr Ismail last night that, if they would help to usher in a new non-BN federal government, ABU would work for them to :
1. end race-based politics
2. honour the Malaysia Agreement of 1963 to ensure that what is due to the people of Sabah and Sarawak is finally delivered to them
3. return the judiciary to the rakyat
4. free the media
5. start to uplift the lives of the 40% marginalised anak bangsa Malaysia.
The people present at the ceramah mandated ABU to represent them to press the new government to deliver these reforms to the rakyat.
