Bomb Blast, Stabbing and Shootings - Be Careful From May 1st - 4th

When the unfortunate woman was stabbed to death by some punks in Bukit Gasing a few days ago someone called me and said that it was a strange incident. Why attack a woman so brazenly in broad daylight?  And she was also an NGO activist.

Then the Deputy DG of Customs was shot yesterday - again another bold attack early in the morning. The Deputy DG of Customs was gunned down by two men on a motorcycle.

Well there has been another shooting death yesterday. A hairdresser was gunned down by two men on a motorcycle in Taman Billion in Cheras.  Why are so many shootings and killings happening just now?

Dont forget the blasts in Nibong Tebal that occured just five days ago on Tuesday.  So many violent things are happening in quick succession over the past few days.  All this provides easy pickings for those who want to potray the country as unsafe.

I cannot help recalling the "Sabah sudah hilang" song.  Why those exact words "Sabah sudah hilang" just days before the Sulus made an armed intrusion into Sabah on the most stupid and moronic mission to free Sabah? It all does not make sense - unless the idea is to frighten people, to create mayhem.

Yesterday I heard a speech by Ng Lum Yong - one of the founders of the PKR. He is no more with the PKR (Parti Keluar Ramai-Ramai).

Ng Lum Yong feels that a few days before Polling there might be some unexpected events that may be engineered. He says that anytime between May 1st to May 3rd or 4th will be "risky"  dates.

He recalls the last elections in Taiwan where the Kuomintang was challenged by a rival party. Just two days before polling in Taiwan, a shooting occured where one of the candidates was shot and injured. This created plenty of sympathy votes for one party.

Ng Lum Yong feels that something similar is not impossible here.  Considering that two people have already been shot and one person stabbed to death, it will only compound the people's fears of an unsafe country and also gain sympathy votes if say some political leader or someone close to a political leader is shot or injured.

Sounds cold hearted but obviously there are cold hearted people around.  The same sort of people who can engineer the Sabah intrusion.  Anything seems halal with these people.

So if you wanted sympathy, who would you want to shoot? The dog?
