KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 — Middle-class voters will determine Malaysia’s future in Election 2013, BN’s Lembah Pantai candidate Senator Datuk Raja Nong Chik Zainal Abidin said today.
While focusing on the poor in the city constituency, Nong Chik pointed out that caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak had launched transformation programmes that also appealed to the middle-class such as eliminating graft.
“The prime minister has undertaken transformation in the government, economy and the social sector,” he told reporters after launching a treasure hunt here today.
“So, middle-class voters should give Najib and myself a chance to prove the transformation along the spirit of 1 Malaysia,” said the interim minister for Federal Territory and Urban Wellbeing.
