Only BN can guarantee a prosperous S'gor, says Najib

SELANGOR Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak reminded the people of Selangor to not endanger their future generation by voting in the opposition during the 13th general election.

Najib, who is also the Barisan Nasional (BN) chairperson, said: "I can assure you (people) that if Selangor comes under BN which will be the same as the federal government, Selangor will certainly become a developed state.

"We can experiment, but it will endanger our future and the future of our children. Only BN can guarantee a prosperous future and we want the people of Selangor to enjoy the same benefit.

"We are tired of the unresolved water issue, that is a major problem. So, enough is enough, we do not want any more issues. The opposition rule in Selangor is of no use because they make all kinds of promises but cannot fulfill any," he said during a 'prime minister with the people of Klang' programme in Pandamaran Jaya last night.

Also present were his wife Rosmah Mansor, Kota Alam Shah state assembly seat candidate Maglin Dennis D'Cruz and other BN candidates in Klang.

About 5,000 turned up to support BN candidates who were present at the programme.

"Enough is enough. Let us change the government (the Selangor state government)," he said.

Najib, who later attended a similar programme with his wife in the Kota Raja parliamentary constituency's 1Malaysia showcase, said BN would solve the flood problems faced by the people in the area if BN wrests Selangor from the opposition.

"The people of Kota Raja must help me and the BN candidates to win the GE13. We will also build more affordable homes," he said.

Also present were Kota Raja BN candidate S Murugesan, Seri Andalas state seat candidate T Mohan and Sri Muda state assembly seat candidate Mohd Abdul Raof Mokhtar.
