MCA president Liow Tiong Lai today vowed to "bury" PKR de factoleader Anwar Ibrahim, whom he blamed for creating the Kajang by-election.
"Since he dug a hole, we will cover (the hole), we will bury him," he said during a speech at the launch of MCA's election operation centre in Sungai Chua.
"He (manipulated) the democratic (process) and created a by-election, we couldn't let him get away with it."
According to Liow, MCA is going to open nine smaller operation centres beside the main one in Sungai Chua and the central party leaders will adopt each polling district.
When asked to comment about 1,200-strong reception for Anwar at the Holy Family Church this morning, Liow said he was not concerned by this.
This was because, according to Liow, people in Kajang were unhappy with the performance of the state government and the fact that a by-election was forced due to PKR's internal problems.

He described the reported attempts to PKR to oust Abdul Khalid Ibrahim as menteri besar as the "joke of the year".
He added that a win for Pakatan Rakyat was meaningless as the coalition already has a two-thirds grasp of the Selangor legislative assembly.
However, if a MCA candidate is voted in, the party would be able to scrutinise the state government better. In view of this, Liow said the voters of Kajang should give MCA a chance to represent them.
Liow also attacked Anwar, accusing him of suppressing Chinese education during his tenure as education minister back in the 1980s.
"Kajang is the base for Chinese educationist fighters... What had Anwar done for Chinese education? Nothing! Zero contribution. Not only that, he penalised and suppressed the Chinese Education," he said.
Liow also claimed that Anwar had, throughout his tenure, only allocated RM10 as a token to Chinese education.
