PETALING JAYA, Malaysia - The Inland Revenue Board has warned the public against responding to e-mail or SMS offering a 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) insurance service, saying that it had not issued any such messages.
IRB noted that there had been numerous enquiries from people who had allegedly received such messages on the insurance service called i-BR1M.
"IRB confirms that we have neither issued any e-mail nor SMS through any officer to any applicant or recipient," it said.
IRB urged those who had received the e-mail or SMS to delete it and ignore the sender. -Asiaone
