'EMPEROR' NAJIB OUT OF CONTROL: After exploiting Pahang Sultan, his minister wants to 'whack' royalty who don't support him

'EMPEROR' NAJIB OUT OF CONTROL: After exploiting Pahang Sultan, his minister wants to 'whack' royalty who don't support him
With the feud between Najib Razak and Tun Mahathir intensifying, the Minister of Tourism and Culture Nazri Aziz has emerged as champion for the embattled Prime Minister.
Compared with his Cabinet colleagues and other UMNO leaders, Nazri frequently appears in the media and is not afraid to thump his chest with bold and frank replies whenever he is asked about the growing criticism against Najib - in accordance with his natural character.
Those who know Nazri understand his character. He is not a pretentious person. If supported, he will show his support, but if not - then he will also fight back.
Among those on Najib's side now, he has been the bravest in refuting Tun Mahathir, while the others are rather cautious and still wishful of retaining the respect of the former prime minister who has contributed greatly.
When Tun Abdullah was in power, Nazri too was among the most vocal in defending the former prime minister against Tun Mahathir's attacks.
For Nazri, whoever is the Prime Minister - that person is his boss. Not long ago he used to say, in the political world, there are only two parties that he has to guard - the Prime Minister and his constituents in Padang Rengas.
Perhaps that is the reason why he has remained a minister since the era of Tun Mahathir till now.
Najib's warning to the Sultans to support him?
But not only Tun Mahathir, who is at odds with Najib, even the Crown Prince of Johor or TMJ who recently criticized the Prime Minister for not attending the forum Nothing To Hide, has also become a target for Nazri.
Uncowed, the TMJ thumbs his nose at Nazri and Najib
Nazri warned the TMJ not to interfere in the political affairs of the country as being as this could his position as a future king.
"I think he should stay away from politics, if not, he will be given the same treatment. We are going to whack him.
"If he starts to comment on the political situation and we whack him back, he should not be angry," Nazri warned.
Nevertheless, Nazri's conduct sparked debate on the social media. While some agreed and supported Nazri's views, many also said he was rude with the Johor royal family as such aggressive words may not be warranted.
Some also said the Johor royalty had the right to criticize and reminded the UMNO leaders that their party was founded in the Johor Palace itself.
Former Prime Minister Tun Mahathir also agreed that the TMJ had the right to warn (Najib) and give his views as there is no law that prohibits the TMJ from doing so.
In this case, Nazri should also note that the involvement of the King, Sultan or royal family in politics is nothing strange. A certain Sultan in a certain state had openly given support to Najib's government, and Najib himself had revealed this massive support the Sultan had pledged to him.
On 23 May, in an attempt to convince people that they should not lose confidence in his leadership amid intense criticism and pressure to resign from Tun Mahathir, Najib had openly said the Sultan of Pahang supported him and wanted him to remain as prime minister.
This declaration was not only seen as political interference from the Palace, even worse and more shameful was Najib's action in manipulating, exploiting and selling himself to the people by leveraging on the Sultan of Pahang's support.
In a direct move and fully-conscious of it, Najib dragged in the name of the Sultan and the Palace for his political advantage.
So before giving a warning to the TMJ, Nazri should in fact whack Najib first.
Oppsss ... is Nazri brave enough to fight his boss? -  http://shahbudindotcom.blogspot.com/
