Public advised to be alert on family members receiving courier-delivered parcels.
KUALA LUMPUR: Drug pushers are now mixing drugs in biscuits and sweets and marketing them through social websites such as Facebook and Instagram, the police said.
“The pushers only interact with the buyers through Facebook and Instagram for orders and delivery which would be done via postal or courier service,” police said in a statement.
The police urged parents or guardians to monitor their children’s social media interactions.
It also advised the public to be alert about the “usual” behaviour of family members or friends as well as receipts of courier-delivered parcels.
