Neutralising Kedah or Clearing the Way.

Has anyone heard rumours of another Cabinet Reshuffle? Its been going around. It could be part of Najib's ouster. Do read on.

Today's news is that Mukhriz is being ousted.  

But here is sadder news. It has relevance to Mukhriz being ousted as well.

My old class mate who runs his own business says that Myanmar and Indon workers are now paid more than locals. The daily rate for a Myanmar manual worker in KL is RM100. Or RM3000 a month !!   Locals can get RM1000 minimum wages, which they often do not deserve.

The Myanmars are becoming a 'high income' group while local Malaysians are becoming low income earners.

The market knows what to pay. Obviously a Myanmar or Indon is THREE times more productive than a local worker. So the Myanmar and Indon can get paid THREE TIMES more than the local.

There is a catch folks. The low productivity, low quality and low wages does not apply to all locals ok. Only some locals.  

For example, the starting salary (even with zero experience and basic SPM qualifications)for workers in a certain service sector in KL (monopolised by the mamaks)  is RM2500.

Do keep that in mind. Here is the story from Kedah :

• Umno leaders, state reps, MPs collectively lost confidence in Mukhriz 
• all 15 division and wing leaders seek Najib to change leadership 

1. Mukhriz failed to unite party leadership and machinery at al levels in state. 
2. no strategic party planning to face 14th general elections 3. failed to lead, move party machinery; failed to administer state govt effectively

• appealed to Najib for an immediate change to state's leadership
• 14 out of 15 division leaders, state wing leaders, state and MPs

kegagalan beliau untuk menyatupadukan UMNO dan Jentera Parti di semua peringkat Negeri KEDAH

Tiada sebarang perancangan yang strategik oleh UMNO untuk menghadapi PRU ke 14.

Sebagai MB KEDAH beliau juga gagal untuk urustadbir kerajaan negeri.

Sebab itu kami berhimpun untuk merayu dan membuat permohonan kepada Perdana Menteri untuk menukar MB KEDAH dan Pengerusi Perhubungan Negeri KEDAH.

Kami berharap PM akan segera mengambil tindakan terhadap perkara ini, demi menjaga parti dan rakyat di Negeri KEDAH dan kita juga akan menyokong sebarang keputusan yang akan diambil oleh YAB. Perdana Menteri.

Kesemua Ketua UMNO Bahagian telah hadir kecuali JERLUN manakala  PADANG TERAP akan diwakili oleh Dato Seri GHAZALI IBRAHIM kerana Dato Seri MAHDZIR KHALID berada di LONDON.

Manakala turut dikesan hadir ialah Dato AZMI DAIM - Setpol MB KEDAH dan PIJA Serta ANAS - Pegawai Khas MB. Kehadiran mereka ini dipercayai bahawa untuk memantau keadaan.

My comments :  First of all, this is a mixture between a revolt and an ouster.

The first year of Mukhriz's term in office was new. Everyone had high expectations.  .

By the end of the first year, people started complaining. The Kedah Civil Service which is a heavy weight in Kedah was not inspired by Mukhriz.  UMNO Kedah too did not see a rallying call.

Last year there was a steady stream of complaints about Mukriz - even before the 1MDB issue went crazy.  

.

There was a revolt brewing already.

.

Then of course Mukriz has been vocal against Najib. They were waiting for a chance to take him out. The top four names who signed the statement above are evidence enough.  This is a  coup d'etat.  Exploiting real grievances to get rid of a strong critic.

Minus Mukriz as MB, the still pro-Mahathir people of Kedah can also be better managed. Meaning come 2018, the pro Mahathir folks can be arm twisted into supporting you know who.  That  is UMNO.

What about the other people in Kedah?  Dont forget in 2008, Mukriz was not the MB of Kedah. Kedah was still lost. Plus, in 2008 the people did not hate the gomen as much as they do now.

Here is another theory. Maybe a request has been made by someone who will be part of the succession.

When Najib goes (its when, not if), who shall replace Najib?

Zahid has hired a PR consultant to improve his image. Talk is at RM50,000 per month. One immediate result is that Zahid has stopped showing his fist or his finger at people. Have you noticed? Less of that samseng style.  
.

The problem for Zahid is,  just because you wear a sheepskin, it does not mean that you are no more a werewolf.  This is not Jim Carrey's 'Mask' that can completely change the character of the person wearing it.  In short no one wants Zahid Hamidi to replace Najib.

Muhyiddin Yasin is the logical choice by party hierarchy. He is deputy president of UMNO.  But Muhyiddin has to push much harder.

The next candidate who is gaining in stature as a Prime Ministerial candidate is Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.  The elder statesman is in a strong and stable position as a replacement for Najib Tun Razak.  And he can lead the nation into the next General Election in 2018.

No baggage weighing him down, he is on good terms with Tun Dr Mahathir, Anwar Ibrahim, the PAS people, with Lim Kit Siang and with a host of other people. Plus he is popular with the Sabah folks, even Sarawak and of course his home state of Kelantan.

If Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah ascends the throne who shall be his deputy?

It may not be Zahid or Muhyiddin. There are only two other people with the right hierarchy in UMNO ie Hishamuddin Hussein and Shafie Apdal. Both are UMNO VPs.  My money is on Hishamuddin. 

Coming back to the Myanmar workers, if Najib remains in power, the Myanmar workersmaybe paid RM200 per day. The Myanmars are already fulfilling Najib's false promises of a 'high income nation'.
