KUALA LUMPUR - Datuk Selva Mookiah had tendered his resignation as MIC legal advisor, reported the Malaysian Times.
The portal reported that Selva quit from his position, claiming the party was not able to uphold the sanctity of Hinduism and the dignity of Indians.
“I am unable under any circumstance to serve a leadership that does not vigorously uphold the sanctity of my religion and race,” the portal reported Selva as saying in a resignation letter.
Selva was quoted as saying in the letter that he had given all to aiding the party but that it was time to part ways and that they would be able to find a suitable replacement for him.
He confirmed his resignation to the portal. - ANN
