PARLIAMENT | A motion by the Pakatan Harapan government to have the Auditor-General's Department and Public Accounts Committee reopen the 1MDB investigation was unanimously approved by the Dewan Rakyat.
This included MPs from BN, who had during the previous Parliament session, stifled debate or questions about the scandal.
The motion was brought by Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, who stressed that the investigations can provide closure for the country.
Annuar Musa (BN-Kertereh) who debated the motion, expressed his support for the motion.
